Laura Stokes is currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Music at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore MD, studying with Dr. Ruth K. Inglefield. She plays a Venus Paragon Concert grand. She has been playing harp since the age of 8 having studied both here in the USA and in Wales. At Peabody Laura plays principal harp in the acclaimed Peabody Wind Ensemble conducted by Harlan Parker, and can be heard on this year's recording of Johan De Meij's Lord of the Rings Symphony which will be released on the Naxos label later this year. |
